Holland Four City Charm Tour

Your private guide will drive you directly to Delft and walk you through this beautiful city. After Delft we will take you for a stroll through The Hague visiting the country’s famous Inner Court and the heart of Dutch democracy. Your guide will show you the Hall of Knights and The Kings Palace.

In the afternoon we move on to Leiden walking over cobblestoned streets, beside canals, through alleys and on city squares. Your guide will show you the hidden gems of the famous University and Rembrandts birth place. Finally we conclude our excursion visiting Haarlem where you can learn about its stunning history and strategic importance. This tour can also first start in Haarlem if necessary.

Haarlem 
Haarlem boasts more than 2350 monuments and can often feel like wandering through an open air museum. A modest city with a stunning history, a mix of old and new architecture and a wealth of interesting sights. Admire the great Gothic Sint Bavo Church, visit hidden courtyards, learn why Haarlem became so successful as a centre of art and walk through the city’s cobblestone streets. Haarlem has been voted as the best shopping city in The Netherlands and is famous for its fries and beer. There is much happening in Haarlem, a city not yet discovered by mass tourism!

Leiden 
Dutch writers and poets have sung Leiden’s praises throughout the centuries, blending old and new with a wealth of interesting sights. From alms-houses to windmills, from churches to city gates, Leiden is such a fascinating place to visit. Follow in the footsteps of The Pilgrim Fathers, the ancestors of the founding fathers of the United States and learn why Americans and their presidents have a special bond with this city. Leiden boasts almost 3000 historic buildings and is home to the oldest university of the country. It’s hard not to fall in love with this city, there is a surprise around every corner.

The Hague 
The Hague is the political and royal heart of The Netherlands and its third-largest city. Wandering through the city you may stumble upon Palaces, The House of Orange or one of the many historical monuments. If you’re lucky you may even encounter members of the Royal Family on the street or even spot them in cars or shops. Like no other city in The Netherlands The Hague offers a unique combination of city and beach life.

Delft 
Get a taste of old-world charm as you wander around historic Delft. Walk with your guide through cobblestone streets lined with quaint houses, canals, and historic churches. Picture perfect Delft is known for the painter Johannes Vermeer, William of Orange and last but not least Delft’s world famous earthenware ‘Delft Blue’.
